Maple Lake’s Fire Department, Ambulance and Rescue squads responded as follows during the past week:
Feb. 3: Ambulance and Rescue squads were dispatched at 2:25 p.m. to a one-vehicle accident on County Road 7 & 39. Occupants of a pickup, which struck a tree, declined medical assistance. Feb. 1: Ambulance and Rescue squads responded to a one-car roll-over accident on Donnelly Dr. NW (east side of Maple Lake) at 12:31 p.m. Occupants of the vehicle, Elizabeth Payne, Buffalo; and Jeff Klarstrom, Montrose; apparently were not injured and transportation was refused. Jan. 31: Medical page at 9:33 p.m. cancelled by a deputy on the scene at 9:42 p.m.
Jan. 29: Medical page for patient in respiratory distress at 9:40 a.m. Individual taken to the Buffalo Hospital ER.
Feb. 1: Maple Lake’s Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire alarm, 6:09 p.m., at the Maple Lake Public Schools. Six firemen responded, investigated and reset the alarm, when no fire was found.
