Breakfast to benefit ‘Find Joshua’ fund set for March 30

The Joint Events Council Community Committee of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, the LaPlayette, St. Joe Meat Market and Jim & Carol Kuebelbeck Dairy are sponsoring a pancake breakfast benefit from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at the LaPlayette, 19 N College Avenue, St. Joseph, Minn.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Wetterling Foundation and Joshua Guimond fund. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 5-12 and free for children four and under. The public is invited to attend.

The pancake breakfast is being sponsored to raise awareness in the community about the disappearance of SJU junior Josh Guimond.   Josh was last seen at approximately midnight on Nov. 9, 2002, on the SJU campus. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Josh is asked to call the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office at 320-251-4240 or SJU Life Safety Services at 320-363-2411.
