Wright County provides summer programs

The Wright County Family Services Collaborative will offer a variety of programs for children of all ages during the summer months.

Crafts and games will be offered at the city park on Division St. on Mondays through August 20, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

The ‘Reading Fun!’ program will take place at the playground near Cutting Edge Cabinets, on 6th Ave. NW. on Wednesdays through August 22, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Each participating child will receive a new book.

Elementary Media Center sets summer hours

The Maple Lake Elementary Media Center will be open for summer readers from 9:00 a.m. to noon on the following Tuesdays during summer vacation: June 26; July 10, 17 and 24.

MLHS invites public previews of textbooks

Maple Lake Schools is adopting new textbooks for the ninth grade civics class, the senior high health class, and the seventh grade English class. Copies of the texts can be previewed by community members during the weeks of June 11-22. If anyone would like to come in and look at the texts, they can stop in the district office and preview them.
