This 16-square-foot garden also boasts seed saving from the previous year pok choy, 3 broccoli, 2 cabbage, 1 kohlrabi, 2 marigold, 2 parsley from the past season, 1 egg plant, 1 endive, 2 empty spaces for a new lettuce to come and now 2 new pok choy.
Connie Lahr (Mrs. Ladybug) has coordinated the program along with assistant, Christina Vikingson (Mrs. Frog). Pat Lahr (Mr. Earthworm) has installed the plastic rainwater collection tank to make water available to the blue barrel shown in the rear of the photo.
The final session with the garden was held on July 21 when the students, along with their parents, were invited to collect the Queensland lettuce plant the students put into place in the nursery on site during their June 23 session.
