Kelly Hartneck, Buffalo

Kelly J. Hartneck, age 46, of Buffalo, and formerly of Annandale, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born on March 17, 1967, in Minneapolis, the son of Roger Hartneck and Karen Kelly. Kelly was the proprietor of KJH Construction. He loved fishing, hunting, was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed cooking, antique collecting, liked working with his hands, was a former businessman who always gave to others. Survived by children: Michael and Kyle Horton and K.J. Hartneck; parents: Roger Hartneck, of Annandale, and Karen Hartneck, of Crystal; siblings: Dori (Ed) Slicer, of Buffalo, Brad Hartneck, of St. Michael, and Ryan (Cassie) Hartneck, of New Hope; four nieces and two nephews; other relatives and friends. Kelly’s love for life and generous spirit was felt by all his loved ones. He will be deeply missed. A Mass of Christian Burial for Kelly Hartneck was Monday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Francis in Buffalo. Father David Hennen was the Celebrant. A visitation was 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home, 300 N. Main, St. Michael. Further visitation was held at the church Monday morning, April 15, one hour prior to services. Casketbearers were Michael Horton-son, Kyle Horton-son, Joe Slicer-nephew, Ed Slicer-brother-in-law, Brad Hartneck-brother, and Ryan Hartneck- brother.
