Laura L. Schut, Corinna Township

Laura L. Schut, age 100, of Corinna Township, Wright County, died on Tuesday August 2, 2011, at the Lake Ridge Care Center of Buffalo. Visitation was on Friday evening, August 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. Further visitation was one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Saturday. Funeral services were at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 1705 Highway 25 North, Buffalo, on Saturday August 6, at 11 a.m. Rev. Rob Jarvis and Rev. Norm Hanan officiated. Interment was at Corinna Cemetery of Corinna Township. 
Laura was born on January 25, 1911, in Corinna Township to Albert and Margaret Klemz. She grew up on Indian Lake of Corinna Township, and lived nearly all of her life in that area of Wright County. On March 18, 1930, she was united in marriage to John E. Schut and to their union five children were born: Leland, Lola, Richard, Carolyn and Janet. Laura had a servant heart and loved serving her family in any way she could.
She is survived by her children Leland J. (Donna) Schut of Buffalo, Lola M. (Gene) Veches of Buffalo, Richard (Marcia) Schut of Becker, Carolyn Krengel of Foley, and Janet Frederick of Becker; 18 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Margaret Klemz; husband, John; and two sisters, Irma Dalman and Irene Gordon.       
Funeral arrangements were with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.
