Violet Olea Rosine,

Violet Olea Rosine, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to be with our Lord and joined in heaven her family and friends who have gone before her. 
Visitation was held on Monday, April 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel, 119 Central Ave., Buffalo. The Reverend James Disney officiated at St. John’s Luther Church, 302 NE 2nd St, Buffalo, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5.
She was born on June 17, 1921, to Ole and Eline Melby in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. Violet left this earth on April 1, 2011, at the age of 89.
Preceded in death by her 5 brothers and 2 sisters; her husband, Kennard; and son, Ron. Survived by sons: Larry (Carole) and Bruce (Sheree); daughters, Barbara (Dean) Johnson, and Lori (Todd) Collins; 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She dearly loved her Lord and family and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Violet will be remembered for her kindness, wonderful sense of humor, dignity and grace and the unwavering love she gave to her family.
