Irish girls win a game, but lose match to Mayer Lutheran

Traveling to Mayer Lutheran on Tuesday, Sept. 24, the Irish knew they would have to be on top of their game and play well to beat the Crusaders.
Throughout the whole match Maple Lake had very strong communication, which helped them to stay in the game and compete with Mayer Lutheran. However, the Crusaders fought back by playing hard at the net; they had a strong middle hitter and good blocking, which led to a 25-18 Irish loss in game one.
They had consistent serving in game two, and the Crusaders struggled to pass, which allowed the Irish to get some runs and score more points, only losing 25-22.
