LEGAL NOTICE
AMENDED ZONING ORDINANCE 
SECTION 29 HIGHWAY
BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-2)
The City Council of the City of Maple Lake, Minnesota ordains:
Section 29.02 of the Maple Lake Zoning Ordinance (B-2, Permitted Uses) is amended as follows:
• Dealerships – removed “Used” car, truck and boat lot sales 
• Feed Sales changed to include addition of words “Consumer Retail” 
• Garden supply stores changed to Lawn and Garden supply stores (new or new and used)
• Greenhouses, nurseries, garden and landscaping stores changed to include addition of words “Consumer Retail” 
• Lumberyards and building materials changed to include addition of words “(new materials)”
• Marine and boat sales and serving establishments changed to include addition of word “(new)” following “boat sales”
• Recreational vehicle sales was changed to incorporate Recreational equipment sales to read as follows “Recreational vehicle and/or equipment sales (new and new and used)”
• Deleted Municipal service and utility buildings, Public utility services and uses, Public utility, Pawnshops, Secondhand goods dealer, and Storage facilities
 
Section 29.04 of the Maple Lake Zoning Ordinance (B-2, Conditional Uses) is amended to addthe following:
• Subd. 4 Pawnshops
• Subd. 5 Indoor Shooting Range
Section 29.05 of the Maple Lake Zoning Ordinance (B-2, Interim Uses) is amended to add the following:
• Subd. 2 Used car, truck, and boat lot sales
• Subd. 3 Recreational vehicle sales – used only
• Subd. 4 Second hand good dealers
This ordinance shall be effective upon publication. 
Adopted by the City Council this 23rd day of September, 2014.

MAPLE LAKE TOWNSHIP
SEPT. 16, 2014 MINUTES
The regular meeting of the Maple  Lake Township Board was called to order by Chairman Gerry Giebenhain at 7 p.m. Supervisor Ronald Wolff, Treasurer Judy Neumann and Clerk Dick Hogan were present.
The minutes of the Aug. 19 meeting were read by Chairman Giebenhain. As no additions or corrections were noted, a motion was offered by Wolff, seconded by Giebenhain, to accept as read. Carried 2-0.
After review, a motion was offered by Giebenhain to accept Resolution No. 2014-01 setting a public hearing on Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. for the vacation of a portion of 45th Street.
That part of the Township right-of-way over the northerly 33 feet of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 10, Township 120, Range 26, Wright County, Minnesota.
That part of the Township right-of-way over the Southerly 33 feet of the SW 1/4 of the NW 14 of Section 10, Township 120, Range 26, Wright County. Acceptance of Resolution 2014-01 by Wolff. Carried 2-0.
Len Ladehoff, 3821 Donnelly Drive, discussed with the Board the placing of a cement culvert. The Board will review site; no action taken.
Brad Karja, 2781 62nd Street, requested an additional two months to remove pallets and a van from outside storage. The Board granted additional time until the 3rd Tuesday in November 2014. No other action taken.
All warrants were paid as presented.
As no additional business was brought before the Board, Chairman Giebenhain adjourned the regular meeting at 8:35 p.m.
