Michael G. McCarty, Klamath Falls, OR


Michael G. McCarty, age 46, died unexpectedly at his home in Klamath Falls, Oregon, on January 1st, 2015.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake, with Chaplain Ron Freeman officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.
Michael Gene McCarty was born June 29, 1968, in Marion, KS, to Larry and Karen (Chilson) McCarty. He graduated from high school in 1985.  Mike has worked for most of his life as a cable installer for different cable companies in the Minneapolis area. Most recently, he started his own company, ACME Environmental Services in Klamath Falls, OR. Mike was an outdoorsman and loved to be outside. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his daughter, father, and brother-in-law, four wheeling with the whole family up north, and spending time in nature.
 He is survived by his daughter, Nicole, and son-in-law, Shane Hill of Glencoe; parents, Larry and Karen McCarty of Maple Lake; sisters, Michelle McCarty (Brian Bloomquist) of Maple Lake and Monica (Rick) Carlson of Maple Lake; his former wife, Leslie McCarty of Howard Lake; nieces, Kezia McCarty, Anjeanine Carlson, Nicole Carlson, Amorae Larson, Kayonna Carlson, Jayda Etem, and Adrionna Donald; nephews, Jaxon McCarty and Caleb Donald; and many other cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends (also, his “furry” children, Koko, Layla, Linus, and Rico).
