Bart Lauer, purveyor of freeze-ups and ice-outs, said Sunday, April 5th, was the ice-out day for Maple Lake this year, well ahead of previous years. Ramsey Lake was free of ice on April 4th, while larger lakes like Sugar, Cedar and Clearwater still had a covering on Monday.
