Richard Robert Repke, age 53, of Monticello, died June 15, 2015, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Visitation was Tuesday, June 23, from 4-7:30 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 12449 Clementa Ave. NW, Monticello. Funeral services were Wednesday, June 24, at Faith Lutheran Church at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Richard Repke was born on July 25, 1961, at St. Cloud Hospital to Russell and Sandra Repke. He grew up in Silver Creek, graduating from Annandale High School in 1979. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1980 and retired in 2000 as a Master Sergeant.
On September 14, 1981, he was united in marriage to Lynn Kaseman. While in the military, they were stationed in Korea, Japan, Scotland and many U.S. states. After retiring, Richard worked at Carson Sales in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2007 Richard and his family moved back to Minnesota. He worked at the Monticello Country Club and recently was employed at Home Depot in Monticello.
Richard was an avid golfer, achieving three holes-in-one during his career. He especially enjoyed playing with his brother, Jim. He was also an enthusiastic bow hunter. He especially loved deer camp at his brother, Ross'.
Suvived by his loving wife, Lynn; children, Matthew of Monticello and Krista of Las Vegas, Nevada; parents, Russell and Sandra Repke; siblings, Jim, Roxanne (Richard) Wagner and Ross (Mary Boler); father-in-law, Len Kaseman; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Patty (Tracy), Kim (Mark), Lisa (Darren), Cathy (Chris); numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts; and many friends.
