On St. Patrick’s Day the Maple Lake Manor and Senior Dining Center threw an Irish get-together for the residents. Led by Ginger O’Loughlin (right) and Lorie Hegle (left), food was served accompanied by jokes and Irish blessings. Hegle was dressed in her washerwoman costume which made serving food and telling jokes a little more festive. The meal was a St. Patrick’s Day favorite, corned beef and cabbage, with an Irish green cake for dessert. Everyone who attended enjoyed the meal and company thoroughly.
