REGARDING PROPOSED
BUSINESS ASSISTANCE/
SUBSIDY POLICY
FOR THE CITY OF MAPLE LAKE, MINNESOTA AND PROPOSED BUSINESS SUBSIDY FOR THE PACE INDUSTRIES PROJECT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Maple Lake, Minnesota (the “City”), will conduct a public hearing in the council chambers in City Hall on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be considered, relating to the adoption of a Business Assistance/Subsidy Policy for the City pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 116J.993 through 116J.995 (the “Business Subsidy Act”) and on providing economic development assistance to Pace Industries (the “Company”) relating to an approximately 60,000 square foot expansion by the Company at its facility located at 310 Congress Street West. The financial assistance will be a business subsidy under the Business Subsidy Act. A summary of terms of the proposed business subsidy are on file and available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer at City Hall during normal business hours.
Any person who resides in or owns taxable property within the City may file a written complaint with the City. If the City fails to comply with the Business Subsidy Act, no action may be filed against the City for the failure to comply unless a written complaint is filed.
Any person wishing to be heard with respect to the proposed business subsidy will be heard orally or in writing at the public hearing.
