Marie’s Storytime was vibrant with rainbows

The boys and girls in Marie’s Storytime were sharing all kinds of pretty rainbows with pictures, rugs, jewelry, umbrellas, toys, and had fun finding the different rainbow colors on their clothes. Marie read some fun stories about rainbows. One book even made its own ribbon rainbow with each turn of the pages. Then the children learned some finger plays and poems about rainbows. Each child made their own paper rainbow, using a paper plate and long rainbow-colored strips of paper. They are pretty enough to hang up. After we took a picture holding the rainbows, the children received a bag of fruit snacks and were told to open them at home next to their rainbow and see if they could find and match all the colors of the rainbow with their snack. Each child also received a “magic” rainbow crayon to make their own pictures at home.
