Paul George Segner, age 48, of Annandale died accidentally Saturday, December 10, 2016.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale with Pastor Dave Nelson and Chaplain Ron Freeman officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday, both at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale. A prayer service will be held 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
Paul George Segner was born November 5, 1968, in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Jim and Trudy (Howard) Segner. He grew up in Annandale and graduated from Annandale High School in 1987. On July 17, 1993, Paul was united in marriage to Cathy Hennen. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Rebecca and Thomas. He was employed at Becker Brothers, New Brighton. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends.
Paul is survived by his wife, Cathy of Annandale; children, Becca (special friend Bennett Erickson) and Thomas, both of Annandale; mother, Trudy Segner of Annandale; brothers and sister, Andy (Marci) Segner of South Haven, Michelle Tobin of Tampa, FL, and Kurt Segner of Annandale; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Audrey Hennen of Maple Lake; siblings-in-law, Randy Hennen of Prairie City, OR, Barb (Loren) O’Brien of Monticello, Pauline (Rick) Riehm of Annandale, Teresa (Tim) Ferrell of Annandale, and Pat Meuwissen of Annandale; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Paul was proceeded in death by his father, Jim Segner; sister-in-law, Alice Meuwissen; and his grandparents, Andrew Segner, Bernice and John Mooney and George and Leota Howard.
Orma Lou Jacobsma will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Burial & Cremation Services of Annandale.
