Wright County Child Foster Care party provides smiles to many children’s faces

Every year, many children enter the child foster care system due to difficult family situations. Licensed child foster care providers willingly open their homes to care for and support these children, while the children’s families strive to create a healthy environment for them to return home to.
Wright County Health and Human Services spreads a little cheer each year by hosting a holiday party. This year’s party was held on December 8th at Monticello River City Extreme. 135 people attended including children, families, and staff. A huge turn-out. Festivities included frosting cookies and craft making. Tie blankets were made and donated by the Annandale Girl Scouts and Kruzin 4 Kidz for each and every child. Santa himself was able to make an appearance, hand out gifts, and take a picture with each child.
