Boys suffer losses at home

The The Maple Lake boys basketball team suffered two losses last week.
On Tuesday, Feb. 14, the Irish fell 65-43 to Eden Valley-Watkins, then on Friday, Feb. 17, the team lost 67-51 to Holdingford. Both games were at home.
The Irish came out ready to play against the Eagles, Tuesday. By the break, the teams were tied 28-28.
Maple Lake ball-handlers struggled to get their shots to fall in the second half and started to fall behind.
EV-W outscored the home team 37-15 that half.
Ben Goelz led scoring with 15 points. He also contributed five rebounds.
Mitch Hoistad contributed 10 points and Joe Stokman had nine points.
