Moose edge Bluejackets, lead conference

The Monticello-Annandale-Maple Lake boys hockey team is on a winning streak after dominating the non-conference Legacy Christian 11-0, Tuesday, Jan. 24, then edging Cambridge-Isanti, 5-4, at home in Mississippi 8 Conference action.
Casey Chiodo jump-started scoring for the Moose in the first five minutes of the first period and MAML never looked back, Tuesday. Chiodo scored two more goals during the game; one more in the first and another in the third.
By the end of the first, the Moose were up 4-0.
Maple Lake junior Devon Lyons provided an assist late in the second period to help claim an 8-0 lead. MAML scored its last three goals in the third period.
Jaden Jarmuzek scored twice for the Moose and had one assist; Troy Dahlheimer scored once and had one assist; Ben Ward scored twice and provided one assist; Dylan Fyle scored once with an assist by Keith Holme. Holme had one more assist for the night, and Honza Stibingr scored one goal and had three assists. Nick Zwack had three assists.
