David Oliver Driggers, age 60 of Buffalo, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017. He was born December 25, 1956 in Bennettsville, South Carolina to John and Mavis (Anderson) Driggers.
David attended Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf in Faribault for eight years, Waverly Public Schools, and Anoka Vo-Technical College. He worked for Honeywell in Minneapolis for seven years, Wal-Mart in Monticello for seven years, and most recently with Izza Tube Bending in Buffalo.
David enjoyed watching TV and scary movies; and playing with his cat, Coco.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Driggers; grandparents, Vernon and Eleanor Anderson; baby brother, Derek Driggers; brother-in-law, Jeff Wimmer; and sister-in-law, Barb Lemieux.
David will be missed by his best friend, Coco; mother, Mavis (James) Lemieux; siblings, Jonae (Harlan) Zander, Paula (Ben) Bergquist, Les Lemieux (Sharon Donovan), Kaye (Jack) Wittern; nieces and nephews, Corey (Ellie) Wimmer, Brett Wimmer, Ashley (Andy) Schwindel, Amanda Bergquist (Adam Loch), Jesse Lemieux (Jessica Wisner), Shawn (Cassandra) Lemieux, Amber Lemieux (Luke Skelton), Ryan Lemieux (Krystal Kalkbrenner), Heather Hagel, Jason Hagel, Jamie Hagel; and many great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service for David was held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM, with visitation one hour prior at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 5460 63rd St NW, with Pastor Culynn Curtis officiating. Interment was at Lutheran Cemetery in Cokato.
