Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association (WH) and its employees donated more than $1,900 to Wright County food shelves leading up to the Wright County Fair.
Employees donated money in exchange for the option to wear jeans instead of dress attire for a week, were entered into prize drawings or received discount tickets to Fair events. WH also accepted donations during the Classic Car Show at the Fair.
“I am pleased and proud of the generosity displayed by our board, members, and employees,” said Tim Sullivan, CEO of WH. “I hope the contributions from our cooperative helped families throughout Wright County.”
