Irish volleyball improves to 26-0

The Irish volleyball team bettered its record to 26-0 after seven more wins last week on the road.
Maple Lake kicked off the series on Tuesday, Oct. 3, with a 3-1 win over Hill-Murray.
The Irish defeated the non-Central Minnesota Conference opponent 22-25, 25-19, 25-18 and 25-23.
On Thursday, Oct. 5, Maple Lake cruised to a 3-0 win over conference foe Kimball, 25-10, 25-21 and 25-17, and on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 6 and 7, the girls won the 32-team Midwest Fall Classic at St. Michael-Albertville.
The Irish were scheduled to host Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa on Tuesday, Oct. 10, and on Thursday, Oct. 12, the team will travel to Dassel-Cokato for a 7 p.m. match. On Saturday, Oct. 14, Maple Lake will compete at Benilde-St. Margaret at 9 a.m., and on Tuesday, Oct. 17, Maple Lake will go to Paynesville for a 7:15 p.m. match-up.
