MAML makes run for state

No. 12 Devon Lyons was in the assist when the Moose scored a goal. The Moose went on to defeat the Moose Lake Area Rebels 10-1 in the playoff game, Thursday, February 23rd.

The Monticello-Annandale-Maple Lake boys hockey team dominated Moose Lake Area 10-0 and downed Princeton 6-1 to get into the Section 5A hockey championship game, Friday, March 3, in Elk River.
The Moose came out strong against Moose Lake, Thursday, Feb. 23, in the first game of the section tournament. MAML scored three goals in the first period against the No. 9 seed, Moose Lake, and never looked back.
Chiodo scored two goals in the first six and a half minutes of the game with assists by Devon Lyons, a junior at Maple Lake, and Ben Ingersoll.
