Wrestlers honored at banquet

The Annandale-Maple Lake wrestling team held its annual end-of-the-season awards banquet, Sunday, March 12, at the Maple Lake High School after a successful season that saw three individuals advance to the state tournament. Pictured, front row, from left, Hunter Manka earned all-conference honors and was named hardest worker; Joe Driscoll earned all-conference honorable mention; Adam Neumann was named most improved; Quinn Youngs was all-conference and finished the season with 114 career wins, and Linus Brown was named most improved junior varsity wrestler. Second row, from left, Aaron Reese was named hardest worker for JV; Dominick Braun earned all-conference honors; Trae Bedford was all-conference honorable mention and most valuable wrestler; Nathan Carlson earned all-conference honors and finished the season with 135 career wins; and Cuyler Helwig was named JVs most valuable wrestler.
