NORMAN R. ZEIDLER, Annandale

Norman R. Zeidler, age 88, of rural Annandale, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at his residence.
He was born on November 17, 1928, in Albion Township, Wright County, the son of William and Adela (Uecker) Zeidler.
Norman was baptized on November 23, 1928, by Reverend Streufert. He was also instructed in the Lutheran catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith on May 17, 1942, by Reverend Klausmeier. His confirmation verse was Isaiah 54:10: For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; “but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.”
Norman graduated from Annandale High School in 1947.
On October 18, 1952, Norman R. Zeidler and Arlene Wolfsteller were joined in holy marriage at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Middleville Township, Wright County, by Reverend Bentrup. God blessed their marriage with six children.
He engaged in dairy farming for many years. Norman lived his entire life on his family’s homestead.
Norman was a lifelong, faithful member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and held through the years many church offices and board positions. He also served on the creamery board in Annandale.
He enjoyed mowing grass and yard work.
Norman was fond of his Minneapolis Moline tractor and John Deere tractors and equipment, past threshing times which were a neighborhood effort, and enjoyed going out for a meal.
Survived by his children: Janet Zeidler of Annandale, Bruce (Cindy) Zeidler of Eagle Bend, Gary (Penny Jo) Zeidler of Loretta, Wisconsin, Judy (Gene) Warner of Annandale and Brian (Amy) Zeidler of St. Michael; 12 grandchildren: Jason Warner, Ryan Warner, Elizabeth Moeller, Joe Zeidler, Chris Zeidler, Nikki Hewett, Bill Zeidler, Adam Zeidler, Jennifer Zeidler, Aaron Zeidler, Jade Zeidler and Amber Zeidler; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gladys Zeidler, Gilbert Wolfsteller, Lester (Barb) Wolfsteller and Marvin Wolfsteller; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his wife, Arlene in 1981; son, Alfred Zeidler; his parents; sister, Edna Janusch; and two brothers, Alvin and Marvin Zeidler.
Funeral services for Norman Zeidler were held on Friday, April 21st, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Middleville Township. Reverend Lynn Machula officiated.
Diane Johnson was the organist for the funeral service.
A visitation was held on Friday, April 21st, at the church two hours prior to services.
Honorary casket bearers were Brian Richter, Bob Neumann, Greg Goltz and Jason Lueders.
Casket bearers were his 12 grandchildren.
