Darlene Ann Jewett, age 75, of rural Howard Lake, passed away on Friday, May 19th, 2017, at her residence.
She was born on April 7, 1942, in Monticello, the daughter of David and Ellen (Gibson) Allen.
On November 27, 1958, Darlene Ann Allen and Charles F. Jewett were joined in holy marriage in Buffalo. 
Darlene was formerly employed at Carlson Doll Company in Maple Lake for many years.
She enjoyed fishing, garage sales, pull tabs, playing cards with her good friend, Pearl Fobbe, reading, and was a collector of many things.
Survived by her husband of 58 years: Chuck Jewett Sr.; children: Julie Davids of Big Lake, Fay (Al Langanki) Jewett of Cokato, Chucky Jewett Jr. of Winsted, Roy (Heidi) Jewett of Eden Valley, Billie (Joan) Jewett of Annandale, Lisa Jewett of Buffalo, Elizabeth (Dan) Latour of Maple Lake and Daisy Hohman of St. Cloud; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; half-brothers and half-sisters: Steve (Vi) Spiering, Randy (Lou Ann) Spiering, Laurie Spiering, Jeannie Spiering, Richard (Ruth) Spiering and Marlene (Guy) Petersen; many other relatives and friends.
 Preceded in death by infant twin daughters, Kim and Kay Jewett, sons-in-law, Rick Davids and Lawrence Paumen Sr.; her parents, David and Elsie Allen  and Ellen (Gibson) Allen; a step-brother, Roumaine (Audrey) Spiering; an uncle, Billy Allen and an aunt, Theresa Reardon.
Funeral services for Darlene Jewett were held on Tuesday, May 23rd, at 5:00 p.m. at The Annandale Evangelical Free Church. Pastor Denny Johnson officiated. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo.
A visitation was held on Tuesday, May 23rd, from 3-5 p.m. at the church.
Casket bearers were Randy and David Trulson, Scotty Berg, Larry, Ronnie and Roy Paumen, Bradley, David and Charlie Jewett, Tyler LaFave, Ryan Davids and Forest Mattson.
