MAML hockey kids is no more - Monticello and Maple Lake will make up new co-op

The dissolution of the Monticello-
Annandale-Maple Lake
hockey cooperative this spring
won’t have much of an effect
on the Maple Lake program,
except a new name. Annandale
wasn’t so lucky.
After two years in the limelight,
including a state runnerup
trophy last winter, MAML
is being forced to disband
thanks to the Minnesota State
High School League’s reclassification
process.
Starting this season, Maple
Lake and Monticello will
make up the co-op under the
name Monticello Moose, and
Annandale will be looking for
a new home.
