On Saturday and Sunday, September 9 and 10, members of Chapter 878 of the Experimental Aircraft Association are celebrating general aviation at the Maple Lake Airport.
Saturday is the second annual camp-out on the airport grounds, in tents under aircraft wings, or in campers. It includes an invitation for participants to “fly-out” in the afternoon as a group to local airports and then return for an evening chili feed plus socializing around a bonfire while listening to live music by the Craig Clark band from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
