Applied fertilizer grant

On November 04, 2008, the Clean Water, Land & Legacy Amendment was passed. Several environmental goals enticed Minnesota voters to pass this additional 3/8 of one percent sales tax. These objectives included the protection of drinking water sources, the protection, enhancement and restoration of wetlands, prairies, forests and fish and game and wildlife habitat, and the protection, enhancement and restoration of lakes, rivers, streams and groundwater.
