St. Timothy Catholic School in Maple Lake will hold its annual bike marathon fundraiser on Saturday morning, Oct. 7.
This year’s goal is to reach $15,900 which will go a long way toward keeping tuition costs down for parents, organizer Rachel Pribyl said. As of last week, the school had collected $7,249.
Only once in the 40-some years school organizers have put on this marathon have they not reached their goal, and Pribyl is optimistic.
“We will take donations until a week after the marathon. Friday, Oct. 13, is our last day for donations,” she said.
