Geyen swims well at meets

Maple Lake freshman Trinity Geyen helped the Buffalo High School swim team to a win over Cambridge-Isanti last week.
The Bison kicked off the week on Tuesday, Oct. 3, with a meet against Delano. Buffalo fell 105-81.
Geyen was part of the fifth-place 200-medley relay team. The group posted a time of 2:09:40. She was also a part of the fourth-place 200-relay team that finished with a time of 1:50:56.
Geyen also swam the 50 free and 100 breast on junior varsity and finished first and third, respectively.
On Thursday, Oct. 5, the Bison took on Cambridge-Isanti and won 108 to 73.
Geyen was part of the 200 free varsity relay that took third place in 1:55:08.
Up next for the Bison is Big Lake on Thursday, Oct. 12. Geyen will also compete with Buffalo on Saturday, Oct. 14, in Elk River.
