Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Maple Lake, at City Hall, at 7:00 p.m., February 15, 2017, to consider the application for St. Timothy’s School for a variance to the Zoning Ordinance to erect an additional freestanding sign in an R-4, High Density Multi-Family Zoning District, at their property located at 215 Division Street East, PID#110-500-064200
Anyone wishing to be heard with reference to this matter will be heard at this meeting.

A motion was m/s/p, Northenscold/Lauer, to approve the Consent Agenda. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Northenscold, to adopt Resolution #2016-55 approving the conditional use permit amendment requested by C&W Spinning to conduct a metal spinning and stamping business in a B-1, Central Business District on the property described as Lots 5, 6, 7, and 10 without conditions, and per recommendation of the Planning Commission. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Lauer/Geyen, to adopt Resolution #2016-56, approving the 2017 Fee Schedule. All present voted in favor.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice of Mink Lake and
Somers Lake Open Water
Aerators designed to prevent fish kills create areas of open water and may be in operation this winter and remain in operation for the rest of the winter once they are started.
The aeration systems on Mink Lake (86-0229) and on Somers Lake (86-0230) located in Corinna Township, Wright County, MN, near the town of Maple Lake, will create open water in several places. Fishermen, skiers, hikers and others are warned to stay clear of the marked areas! Weather conditions may cause the areas of thin ice and open water to fluctuate greatly. Vehicles including snowmobiles and ATVS should stay off the lake entirely when aeration is operational.

A motion was m/s/p, Geyen/Lauer, to approve the Consent Agenda. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Northenscold, to adopt Resolution #2016-54, to approve the 2017 Final Tax Levy of $1,076,720.00 and to approve the 2017 Final Budget of $1,834,407.00. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Jude, to approve the 2017 Budgets for all enterprise funds, special revenue funds, capital improvement funds, and debt service funds as submitted in the Council packet.
A motion was m/s/p, Lauer/Jude, voted to affirm that the City lot at the corner of Birch Ave. and Division Street is for sale. Northenscold and Geyen opposed; motion carried.

A motion was m/s/p, Geyen/Kissock, adding the term Non-EMT Firefighter to section 1A Number of EMTs up to 5 non-firefighters, and 2A that EMT (Non-Firefighter) be at least 18 years of age and be within a 7 minute drive time of the fire station. All present voted in favor except Jude who abstained.
