Notice of Annual Meeting and
Election of Officers
Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Albion Township, County of Wright, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 at the Albion Town Hall at 9020 20th St. NW, Annandale, MN 55302. In case of inclement weather, the Annual Election and Annual Meeting will be postponed until Tuesday, March 21st, 2017, during the same hours.
The Election Poll hours will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at which time the voters will elect one Supervisor for a 3-year term and one Treasurer for a 2-year term.
The ANNUAL MEETING will commence after the polls close at 8:00 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.
Board of Canvass meeting will follow the Annual Meeting.

A motion was m/s/p, Northenscold/Lauer, to approve the Consent Agenda. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Northenscold, to adopt Resolution #2016-55 approving the conditional use permit amendment requested by C&W Spinning to conduct a metal spinning and stamping business in a B-1, Central Business District on the property described as Lots 5, 6, 7, and 10 without conditions, and per recommendation of the Planning Commission. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Lauer/Geyen, to adopt Resolution #2016-56, approving the 2017 Fee Schedule. All present voted in favor.

Notice of Mink Lake and
Somers Lake Open Water
Aerators designed to prevent fish kills create areas of open water and may be in operation this winter and remain in operation for the rest of the winter once they are started.
The aeration systems on Mink Lake (86-0229) and on Somers Lake (86-0230) located in Corinna Township, Wright County, MN, near the town of Maple Lake, will create open water in several places. Fishermen, skiers, hikers and others are warned to stay clear of the marked areas! Weather conditions may cause the areas of thin ice and open water to fluctuate greatly. Vehicles including snowmobiles and ATVS should stay off the lake entirely when aeration is operational.

A motion was m/s/p, Geyen/Lauer, to approve the Consent Agenda. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Northenscold, to adopt Resolution #2016-54, to approve the 2017 Final Tax Levy of $1,076,720.00 and to approve the 2017 Final Budget of $1,834,407.00. All present voted in favor.
A motion was m/s/p, Kissock/Jude, to approve the 2017 Budgets for all enterprise funds, special revenue funds, capital improvement funds, and debt service funds as submitted in the Council packet.
A motion was m/s/p, Lauer/Jude, voted to affirm that the City lot at the corner of Birch Ave. and Division Street is for sale. Northenscold and Geyen opposed; motion carried.
