Each year, the sixth grade class at St. Timothy’s School attends Deep Portage, an environmental learning camp in northern Minnesota. To help raise funds to defray costs for the trip, the church has a fenced area for collecting aluminum cans. All funds raised from the cans each year are used for the trip. Community members are encouraged to put their aluminun cans to good use by dropping them off at the fenced area by the church garage.
