Kruzin’ 4 Kidz and President Tyson Stanley had a wonderful event over the weekend with support from the community of Maple Lake and surrounding areas. The benefit and motorcycle ride was for children who have been diagnosed with cancer in Minnesota. Proceeds go to support the U of M Masonic Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of MN. 100% of the proceeds go right back to the kids who have been diagnosed with cancer.
This year, they set a goal of $15,784, a dollar for every kid diagnosed with cancer in 2014 (most recent numbers from the hospitals). With help from the community, Kruzin’ 4 Kidz, the Maple Lake Legion Riders and others, they exceeded their goal with $18,264. Junior Kruzers, who are family members of riders or affected children in the community, will be taking a trip to Flying Circus Toys in Albertville to pick out the toys for MN hospitals. This was a huge victory for the group and for the kids who will be very excited to get their new toys.
