MYLES MYRON MARQUETTE, Maple Lake

Myles Myron Marquette, age 78, of Maple Lake, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017. He was born January 16, 1939, to Ralph and Ida (Hoffman) Marquette in Chatham Township, Wright County.
Myles attended Maple Lake High School and worked construction and drove truck.
On February 16, 1957, Myles Marquette and Irene Thiessen were united in marriage in Buffalo.
In his free time, Myles enjoyed getting together with his wonderful family members and many friends from across the states with good food and drinks. He also enjoyed ice fishing, playing the electric steel guitar, and playing cards.
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Dustin; parents, Ralph and Ida; and brothers and sisters, Floyd “Bud”, Pauline “Tootie”, Gene, Clyde, Ben, John, Ida “Maggie” and Dennis “Joe”.
Myles is survived by his wife of 60+ years, Irene; sons, Myron and Arnie; daughter, Barbara; grandchildren, Jeremy, Derek, Tara; great-grandchildren, Jade Christian, Brielle; brothers, Douglas, Ervin, Clark “Butch”; and many wonderful in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Myles’ life will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Maple Lake VFW, 66 Maple Avenue South in Maple Lake.
