Student apprentices learn occupational skills

Wright Technical Center’s Youth Apprenticeship program in Buffalo, provides employability and occupational skills defined by industries to local students during a time when there is a shortage of highly skilled employees in CTE fields locally and nationally.
This spring the following students successfully earned MN Youth Apprenticeship Certificates thanks to partnering businesses collaborating with Wright Technical Center.
At Cedar Lakes Engineering, senior Mykala Dockter completed 450+ hours to earn YA Level 1 Apprenticeship Certificate in the Manufacturing Program: Production Pathway-Welding Unit, and senior Harley Hubert, completed 900+ hours to earn YA Level 2 Apprenticeship Certificate in the Manufacturing Program :
Production Pathway-Machining Unit.
