As the United States celebrates its independence Tuesday, July 4, with parades, fireworks and barbeques, Maple Lake and the surrounding area has several events locals can participate in to ring in the occasion.
Library kiddie parade
Kicking things off on Monday, July 3, little ones can take part in their very own Fourth of July parade at the Maple Lake Library with Marie Mavencamp and the famous dog, Boone, from Books with Boone.
