The Maple Lake High School girls cross country team came home with its second team win of the season last week.
The Irish traveled to Holdingford on Thursday, Sept. 7, where the runners met nine teams including a tough Albany team.
The girls ousted all of them with top runners claiming the fourth- through sixth-place spots.
Eighth grader Sophie Pribyl was the top finisher for the Irish, claiming fourth place out of 60 runners. Her time was 21:53.580.
Right behind her in fifth place was freshman Mary Miller with a time of 21:55.380 and claiming sixth was Gus Demarais with a time of 22:03.638.
