The Maple Lake High School volleyball team has a promising season ahead of them with the loss of only two players from last year’s state championship team.
A total of 10 seniors make up this year’s squad and they have already secured themselves the No. 1 spot in pre-season rankings.
Olivia Marquette and Morgan Scheiber have moved on since last year’s success that ended with the school’s first-ever state volleyball title. Returning are seniors Calli Maki, Amber Klug, Linsey Rachel, Brynn Paumen, Mollie Scheiber, Kaleigh Beehler, Mackenna Brown, Kora Fuller, Alexus Jackson and Anna Becker, plus an array of underclassmen, many of whom have seen their share of varsity action.
