The Maple Lake Library’s 9th Annual Fundraiser was a resounding success, Saturday, Oct. 7, according to organizers.
There were 145 dinners served (almost 30 more than last year), 20 live-auction items sold and 81 baskets on the silent auction.

The Maple Lake Library is a completely volunteer-run organization that depends on community support to keep its doors open.
On Sunday, library volunteers received the affirmation they were looking for that the library is appreciated and matters to the community, Mooney said.
The library’s next fundraising event will take place on Sunday, Nov. 26, at the Barnes and Noble book store in Maple Grove.
