The sounds of the season were heard in the Maple Lake High School auditorium on Tuesday, December 12, with an amazing performance by the 9-12 mixed choir. The students started the evening with Bonse Aba, an African folk song, and concluded the evening with the traditional Night of Silence performed surrounding the audience and holding tea lights. “The students out-did themselves. Their focus and dedication to each song was above and beyond any expectations we had talked about,” exclaimed Mrs. Nelson. Above left, the 9-12 mixed choir performs in front of a full audience.

Gabe Rassat, Brock Paumen and Noah Zander were all dressed up and ready to sing at the performance.
