REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR SEAL COAT OF VARIOUS ROADS SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP FEBRUARY 6, 2018 7 P.M.
Silver Creek Township in Wright County MN requests a Sealed Bid from Contractors for roads to be seal coated this upcoming 2018 construction season. Bid documents can be obtained from the Silver Creek Township Clerk during business hours. The major quantities of work to be completed are more or less: Chip Seal over Existing Gravel Surface 47,1620 GALS. 2 Coats of CRS-2P Oil at 0.35 gallons per square yard 134,750 Sq. Yd. 2 Coats of FA-3 Granite Chip Seal 23,581 GALS. Chip Seal over Existing Chip Sealed Gravel 23,581 GALS. CRS-2P Oil at 0.35 gallons per square yard 67,375 Sq. Yd. FA-3 Granite Chip Seal 13,745 GALS. All roads are to be swept, and rock is to be delivered to the Silver Creek Township Shop. Fog seal must be completed within five days of chip seal completion. All work is to be done within MnDOT specs which are included in bid packet. Silver Creek Township reserves the right to add or subtract the major quantities of work specified above. Silver Creek Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes in the best interest of the township. Work is to be completed on or before August 31, 2018.
