Swimmers Stay Strong

The Buffalo Swim and Dive team had two meets last week. On Thursday, Jan. 11, the Bison traveled to Cambridge and won 101-77, and on Saturday, Jan. 13, the Bison hosted the Bison Border Battle and finished second. Maple Lake swimmer Dylan Neska finished third in the 200 IM for his heat at Cambridge and was third overall with his fastest time so far at 2.26.25. On Saturday, Neska and Maple Lake classmate Dakota Malwitz were both part of the 400-yard free relay team that finished sixth overall. Other teams at the event were Fargo North, Shakopee, St. Cloud Apollo, St. Paul Area, and Watertown- Mayer. This week the boys travel to St. Michael-Albertville for a 6 p.m. meet on Thursday, Jan. 18 and on Saturday, Jan. 20, the Bison will compete in Elk River.
