The Irish Mentors program and Maple Lake schools hosted its annual blood drive on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Students and community members were invited to make a difference in the lives of those in need of help. Second-time donor Maddi Maas makes her donation while and Ava Mergen offers support. “It doesn’t hurt that bad” and “helping someone is good,” Maas said.
