Generosity abounded at St. Timothy’s 21st annual spring auction fundraiser where a full house of people gathered, Saturday, April 7, at the V by HH in Maple Lake to show their support and give money to the local Catholic school.
Although organizers don’t yet know how much money was raised in total, a jar of canned pickles donated by the Neumann family went for a whopping $600, which is an indication of just how supportive party-goers were feeling.
“It was another successful evening,” organizer Brandi Brandstrom said. “The numbers were a little lower, but generosity did not lack.”
Parents and student volunteers, assisted by Harney Heeralall owner of the V by HH, served up traditional Italian dishes to 250 guests and at least 300 people attended the festivities altogether, Brandstrom said.
“Everybody loved the food and it was plentiful as usual,” she added.
