Library gears up for summer reading fun

The Maple Lake Library is gearing up for its summer reading programs. It all starts with Summertime Reading with Rowdy, and Summer Storytime with Marie.

Children can read with Rowdy the dog on Mondays throughout the summer starting at 9:30 a.m. at the library. Storytime with Marie meets at the same time in the McHugh Building just down the street.

The Wright County Dairy Princesses and Ambassadors will be celebrating Dairy Month by visiting the Maple Lake Library on Wednesday, June 6 from 12:30 – 2 p.m., with ice cream treats for all. They will also have stories for children. Come and celebrate with them at the library.

Finally, Summer Read & Redeem at the Maple Lake Library is a free reading incentive program for children pre-readers and up. Read and earn fun rewards. Registration begins June 11, but there is no deadline or required number of weeks of participation. Stop at the library for complete program information.
