Story time talks about frogs

“Ribbit, Ribbit” were the words of the day at Storytime with Marie as 21 children played with “frogs” of all kinds. The children shared, stuffed, plastic, rubber, metal, and even REAL frogs that they brought from home. Then the children were in for a real treat when our guest speaker, Bob Zimmerman, shared the book he wrote, A Frog in My Throat. It was fun!!!. The children pretended to be frogs for a fun hopping game. Then they shared Marie’s frog puppets and “sat on a log” while we all sang “Five Little Speckled Frogs” over and over until each child had a turn “being a frog and jumping into the pool!” Marie helped each child, with help from the adults!!, make a foam rubber frog on a lilly pad.
