The Bob Johnson Family won first place with their Surfin Safari themed boat during the annual boat parade on Maple Lake in honor of Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4. Their boat was sponsored by Madigan’s. A half a dozen decorated boats made their way around the lake despite threatening skies. The weather held out though and boaters appeared to have a good time waving and honking their horns at people along the shore. Prizes were also given to the second and third place boats.
