DOROTHY MAUREEN (ROGERS) STUHR, Clearwater

Dorothy passed away in her home on July 15th, 2018. She was surrounded by loved ones. Dorothy was born on February 6th, 1939, to John and Marie Rogers. She grew up in Waverly Minnesota. She married Melvyn G. Stuhr, Jr on June 28th, 1958. They raised 5 children in Maple Lake, where they lived until 2015. At which time they moved to Clearwater, MN. Dorothy worked as a probation officer for Wright County from 1971 until her retirement in 2000. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents John and Marie Rogers, brothers; John “Jack” and James Rogers, sister; Margaret Kutz and her husband Harvey, her granddaughter Elizabeth Albertson and great granddaughter Adelaide Johnston She is survived by her husband of 60 years Melvyn Stuhr, Jr of Clearwater, MN and prior residence of Maple Lake MN. Children; Aimee (Tim) Kittock of Maple Lake, MN., Daniel (Betty Jo) of Montrose, MN., Dennis (Dawn) of Buffalo, MN., Annette (Joseph) Gunnerson of South Haven, MN., Alison (Todd) Totz of Maple Lake, MN.,. Her sister, Sister John Ellen Rogers, SJC of St Paul, MN., sisters- in-law Patricia Rogers of Champlin, Shirley Rogers of Hudson Wisc.,. Her grandchildren; Rita” Katie” Kittock, Carter (Allyssa) Kittock, Keegan (Leslie Sawatzke) Kittock, Ashley (Amon) Johnston, Daniel Stuhr, Samantha (James Wilder) Stuhr, Kristi (Matt) Bermel, Chad ( Alicia Buechler) Stuhr, Tyler (Kayla) Gunnerson, Whitney (Colton) Gettler, Dylan ( Brittany Stroud) Gunnerson, Jessica (Mark) Pavlenko, Travis (Jenna) Totz. Great grandchildren; Christian, Tristan, and Killian McFarlane, Gemma and Finnigan Kittock, Xavier Aspinal, Jayden, Piper, Kennedy, and Emmerson Albertson, Logan, Camden, and Norah Bermel, Kayden Stuhr, Scarlett Gettler, Ryland, Huxley, and Hudson Gunnerson, Ethan and Collin Pavlenko, her many nieces and nephews. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all that she loved, those that loved her, and everyone she touched. Mass will be at 11:00am. With internment at St Timothy Cemetery on HWY 55, Maple Lake, MN. after mass, followed by a luncheon at the Legion in Maple Lake, MN
